Why Minor in Military Studies?

On the surface, Military Studies (MIST) looks like it caters specifically to students who are considering a career with the armed forces.  In reality, much of what you will learn is applicable to a wide variety of occupations including business, government, law, education, health services, ministry, and others.  The lessons in leadership and critical analysis will be useful in any field, military or otherwise.  Furthermore, MIST will make you a better and more informed citizen by learning to appreciate and understand the military traditions of this country and others throughout history.
